DR. STEVEN OTSUKA DARDIS, DAOM, LAC. DIP AC

Acupuncture

Steven he has been involved in acupuncture and Eastern medicine for over 25 years. He looks forward to team collaboration, hoping to incorporate his eclectic style in a way to improve a person’s well being and quality of life. He is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, DAOM and Licensed Acupuncturist, LAc who treats individuals with acupuncture, herbs and physiotherapy (Massage, Cupping, Gua Sha, Kinesio Taping). Steven received his Masters and Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine.

 

He attended Pacific Lutheran University to compete in Track and Field and received his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and afterwards, moved back to Japan to work. It was while in Japan and getting reacquainted with his Japanese side of the family and their involvement in acupuncture, herbs, physiotherapy and allopathic medicine that convinced him to change career paths. 

 

Steven has worked in private practice as well as in a large institution: Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). Throughout his professional career he has been a clinic supervisor and adjunct instructor to OHSU school of medicine, the National University of Naturopathic Medicine and the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. Steven’s focus has been on sports health, women’s health and pain management, however, he has been known to treat a variety of conditions ranging from acute to chronic and mental health issues.
