BRADLEY CAPRON, DACM, LAc

Acupuncture, Tuina & Herbs

Dr. Capron has been in practice since 2004, treating a variety of health issues, with a focus on pain and orthopedic injuries. Treatments involve various gentle needling techniques that effectively address local pain, as well as systemic illness and imbalances in health. In addition to acupuncture, Dr. Capron offers comprehensive herbal consultations, and incorporates targeted manual therapy into his treatments, including cupping, assisted stretching, tuina, and shiatsu. His acupuncture technique focuses on anatomical-based motor/trigger and neuro points for musculo-skeletal issues, combined with traditional constitutional and channel theory.

He earned his master’s degree from the Traditional Chinese Medical College of Hawaii on the Big Island in 2004 and completed a doctorate program at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland in 2022.  He has worked in a variety of settings, including integrated medicine clinics, resort spas, individual private practice, motor vehicle accident specialty clinics, and as a clinical supervisor at Naturopathic and Acupuncture colleges.

Clinical herbalism is another specialty of Dr. Capron. Herbs are effective for various complex and challenging health issues, specific concerns, as well as general holistic wellness plans. His herbal experience includes teaching in the OCOM herbal medicinary, specialized training and production experience in herbal medicine, work in naturopathic pharmacies, extensive cultivation and herbal farming experience, and study with many well-regarded herbal practitioners.

Nature has always been a major inspiration in Dr. Capron’s life, informing both his medical understanding, and life philosophy. He is grateful to be able to live in the beautiful and green Pacific Northwest, being outdoors in his garden, or roaming the trails. The goal of his practice is to get quick relief of symptoms, while addressing the root causes of disease, with effective treatments, education, and collaboration with individual patient’s needs.
